Thanksgiving Tea

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you had a wonderful day with family like we did.  The nice thing about my family is they understand, support and share in my tea habit and a couple are even responsible for it!

I pulled out this pretty pumpkin colored tea set with fruit and rose details, topped off with a quilted pinstripe pattern, and olive green and black detailing.

We enjoyed Piper & Leaf’s new Caramel Apple Pie blend which contains Ceylon tea, apples, caramel, oranges, star anise, ginger, and other spices.  The apple and spice smells are agreeably strong and the tea tastes just as delightful.  It was a hit with the family.  Some had it with milk, some with sugar and some straight up.  Just perfect for a blustery fall afternoon.

I’m thankful for all my friends and family and you, dear reader.  Cheers!

  1. Kitty, thank you so much for your posts! I have to ask your opinion. My friends and I would like to have a high tea as our Christmas get together. Where would you recommend we go?

    • Thanks for asking! I’d go to Emma’s Tea Room. They serve afternoon tea Friday and Saturday from 3:30-5:30 for groups of four or more. Reservations are required. It is definitely a treat! Each one of you can order your own pot of tea and you can share and taste them all. I recommend the Piper and Leaf teas they now carry. Let me know what you all think!
