Happy Fourth of July! This is a special day for my husband and me. It’s our anniversary! A quote from Rudolph (the Red Nose) comes to mind, “Let’s be independent together!”
Here is a picture of one of my teapots. It’s supposed to be a replica of the Statue of Liberty’s torch. We got it at the gift store there years ago on a trip to New York City. You can see that it is a fair representation. I remember the people at the gift shop were extremely kind and helpful and we had such a wonderful trip to NYC. This teapot brings back happy memories.
These limited edition teapots were made in 1997 by award winning architect Guy Lindsay Kohn. Only 1000 were made. It is glazed in 24k gold and cast by hand. It was designed as an exact to-scale replica of the Statue of Liberty flame.
