The Funky Fairy’s original location is in Killen, AL but they also have a location in Lowe Mill where I picked up some Cranberry Orange and Irish Breakfast teas.
The Cranberry Orange was nice and strong but still smooth and not bitter. The orange and cranberry were more like supporting characters, not overpowering. It was surprisingly good.
I wouldn’t call this an Irish Breakfast Tea. It is your standard loose whole-leaf black tea but it is definitely not Irish Breakfast. A good Irish Breakfast Tea will be broken. There were plenty of sticks and stems in the tea. I pulled a couple of them out so you could see what I mean. So sadly, it’s not even a high quality tea. I won’t get it again.
